Day 1; Arrival- Kigali city tour.
On arrival at Kanombe Kigali international airstrip, you will be welcomed by a representative from AA safaris and tours ltd who will take you around Kigali to start your 8 Days Rwanda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari. Day 2; Kigali – Butare – – Nyungwe
Wake up relatively early for breakfast and then transfer to Butare which is now known as Huye. Visit the national museum and later transfer to Nyungwe National Park. After your visit, you will transfer to Nyungwe Forest national park.

Day 3; Chimpanzee Tracking Safari
Nyungwe has one of the largets forests in the whole of Africa. The forest is a home to over 13 primates species which include chimpanzees and Colobus monkeys. Day 5; Gisenyi – Volcanoes National Park
Take breakfast and later go for nature walk along the shore of Lake Kivu or take a boat ride along Lake Kivu and later have lunch . In the afternoon , you will transfer to Parc Des Volcans or Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda

Day 6; Gorilla Safari Holiday Rwanda
Take breakfast and then later take your packed lunch with you for briefing at the ORTPN offices for briefing for gorilla trekking park rangers. You will then start Africa Gorilla Trekking safari.
The bamboo forest logs will dribble as you first perceive sound the breaking of bamboo indicating that the gorillas are nearer then bingo you face to face with one of the most charming and mesmerizing beings in the world. One you meet and see the gorilla you are allowed to spend 1 Hour following them and then return to your lodge.
If you return early there are a number of activities that you can participate in including the Iby’iwacu community visits, or take a canoe ride or Kayak around the gorillas, or visit the Twin Lakes.
Relax as you wait for dinner and over night at your lodge.
Day 7; Golden Monkey Trek.
Wake up early in the morning and then assemble at the ORTPN Offices once again to get another briefing from the rangers to prepare you for Golden monkey trekking.

Day 8; Dian Fossey Tombs Trek
Take a trek to the grave of the late famous gorilla researcher – Dian Fossey. The trek is shorter and may take 3 hours. The rangers will explain all the history of how the lady was assassinated and what impact her research has done to help in the conservation of the Mountain gorillas. Later, you will return and transfer to Kigali for your next flight back home . End of the primates Rwanda Safari.
