Rwanda to Participate in Vakantie Beurs Tourism Fair in Netherlands – AA Safaris

vakantiebeurs-2016Latest in Rwanda’s tourism News is a team comprising of tour operators, hoteliers, plus representatives from the Rwanda Development Board, are going to the Netherlands to participate in the 2016 edition of Utrecht based Vakantie Beurs, which is going to be a 5 days event that will showcase different tourism destinations across the planet to the Dutch.

Rwanda is connected to Europe by KLM and Brussels Airlines through its main airport terminal in Kigali the capital city of Rwanda. In addition, the capital is also the starting point for any Safari in Rwanda including mountain gorilla tracking safaris, wildlife tours in Akagera National Park, visiting the memorial center or exploring Nyungwe National Park which offers the ‘much-loved’ and first-ever canopy walk in one of the most ancient rainforests in East Africa.

This year, the tourism fair in the Netherlands is going to dedicate an entire day for travel trade then the other days with be open for consumers to move from stall to stall seeing the various tourism destinations across the planet.

Most of the tour operators going to exhibit on the trade fair are very hopeful that this opportunity is going to market Rwanda very well and even increase the number of tourists the country will receive. And with the introduction of a single Tourist Visa, tourists will have opportunity to travel to other East African destinations all on a single visa during the Rwanda Safari Holiday. And Over the last years, the Rwanda Development Board has sent representatives to attend this tourism trade Fair.

The continuous flights by KLM serving between Kigali and Amsterdam, as well as flight services by Brussels Airlines, KQ (Kenya Airways) and other airline services into East Africa have enabled tourists traveling from the Netherlands to enjoy a Safari in Rwanda. Worth noting as well is that the expansion of the international airport of Rwanda in Kigali has made this facility easier to use by the passengers while the ongoing construction of another taxiway once complete will take care of any additional flights.
