  • Do not directly stare into the eyes of gorillas or chimps; it threatens them.
  • Always switch off your camera flash light; it threatens them
  • While in their presence, its recommended that you keep your voices low. Avoid speaking too loud
  • Avoid rapid movements while in their presence.
  • Stay together as a group on one side and let the chimps or gorillas be on the other end.
  • Do not block the path of the chimps or gorillas as they moving.
  • Don’t take food or drink in the presence of the chimps or gorillas.
  • While walking in the forest, take care of where you step .
  • When going tracking we recommend that you wear clothing that covers your legs and arms to avoid scratches from the thorny vegetation as well as insect bites. if possible you may use insect repellent creams.
  • Preferably drink enough water to keep hydrated since the activity requires walking for some hours.
  • Don’t forget to carry a rain jacket and a waterproof bag to hold your camera, remember primate tracking is done in a forest and there it can rain any time.
