UWA to open a new website

The current   Uganda Wildlife Authority board of directors has played a big role in developing the tourism industry of Uganda. The former board led by the former chairman who was fired by the high court for failing to meet the ability requirements under the important law

On 16^th May, UWA together with USAIDs STAR Sustainable Tourism in the Albertine Rift will start their new website and webportal including all the 10 national parks in the country, game reserves and activities done to preserve Uganda’s amazing wildlife and protected areas.

Travel to Uganda has increased this year because Lonely Planet selected Uganda the number one destination to be visited in 2012 and the country will celebrate the 50^th anniversary of independence.
