Rwanda straggles to be East Africa’s most accessible country

Rwanda as it works on the s status of being East Africa’s most developed and highly accessible country, it has taken another step to ensure that they achieve the goal by having the Jaguar bus company which is based in Kigali start to providing their entire fleet with routers which permits speeds of up to 21.6 MB per second.

A few weeks back, the Safaricom of Kenya officially initiated the wireless internet mini routers for their matatus and so many drivers have already installed the gadget in their commuter vehicles but it was learned later that Jaguar also had plans of doing the same.

These Jaguar bases operate on the routes mainly from Kigali to Kampala and back and this technology is intended to keep all the people who use these buses on line, therefore can easily communicate with their friends and families as they travel.  And also be able to send emergency requests via the wireless connection to for instance alert medical personnel of someone who may need immediate medical attention while they are on the way.

It is most likely that this added feature on Jaguar coaches will certainly prompt other rival companies in the whole of East Africa so that they can compete favorably otherwise people may end up using only the Jaguar because of the service thereby driving the others out of business. So may people use they buses especially the low and average income earners to travel to different places which go as far as Dar es Salaam from Kampala and to Mombasa via Nairobi and Kampala to Kigali.

Improved transport means in Rwanda will be very vital in the development of their tourism industry  composed of great wildlife and  culture attractions and this is so because the more accessible the country becomes, the more easier it will become fro tourist to travel from one country say from Kenya, Tanzania or any other to Rwanda. Hopefully, even the other companies in other countries will copy from Rwanda.
