ARCOS HEADQUATERS SHIFTED TO KIGALI

The Albertine Rift Conservation an organization based in UK has shifted its headquarters that had been in Kampala Uganda to Kigali the capital city of Rwanda. Anew head office of $350,000 has been constructed in Kigali and the discussions between the organization and the government of Rwanda have been finalized.

The UK office has also been shifted to a new location and the NGO has an aim of maintaining biodiversity in the Albertine Rift which begins from Lake Albert in Uganda to Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania.

The centre should provide information, train and act as a research centre from which other NGOs and conservation organizations can benefit. It has not yet been discovered why the headquarters have been shifted to Rwanda but Rwanda is encouraging for any support it can get to protect natural resources and biodiversity.
