Rwanda air yet to acquire a new aircraft

 

 Rwanda Air will be spending a total of $33 million to buy a Q400 Next Gen turboprop from Bombardier, which is a Canada’s top aircraft maker and exporter.The can carry about 70 to 80 passengers and it’s a Q400 NextGen, very fast, quiet and very good regarding fuel consumption. 

Now that there is an increase in the demand for domestic and regional travel in Africa, the 67-seat, as well as the dual-class Q400 Next Gen aircraft will ensure Rwanda Air increases on the number of times that they fly along the popular routes that are being opened and serviced with the 37-seat Bombardier Dash 8-200 aircraft so said John Mirenge who is the Rwanda Air Chief Executive Officer.   

Rwanda Air is now serving Africa’s expanding domestic and international market which is its newest and fastest growing customers .Mike Arcamone, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft said that it is actually very good that the carrier has again chosen Bombardier aircraft to further develop its network of short- and medium-haul destinations.
