KENYA AWARDS DEAD CONSERVATION HEROES

A memorial site has been opened at the Kenya Wildlife service at the entrance of Nairobi National Park where all names of those that died during conservation and anti poaching operations have been listed.

This is to show poachers that those who die during the fight are remembered and the organization will continue with the good fight.

Dr Muntunga repeated that there is need to support wildlife enforcement laws and regulations which have not yet been set up by the parliament will have stiffer sentences and crippling fines. These laws will affect traders, poachers and smugglers and will face a wide range of punishments which will be available to the judges and magistrates.
