TOURISTS FROM TURKEY TO INCREASE NEXT YEAR

The number of visitors from Turkey will increase next year because the Turkish government has decided to support Tanzania’s tourism sector.

More than 10,000 visitors from Turkey have visited Tanzania in the previous years and the number will increase to 200,000 in the coming next years.

The Turkish Ambassador Dr. Sander Gurbuz said he has convinced his home country to open an embassy in Tanzania which will help to attract more visitors from Turkey to Tanzania which will lead to an increase in the foreign currency.

He said there have been direct flights from Istanbul to Dar es Salaam and it has helped to bring the two countries closer.

The doctor said Tanzania has a number of tourism potentials so they have to improve on their marketing skills to increase on the number of tourists.
