ChimpanzeesDay 2; Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk

Nyungwe national park has a over 13 primate species, and it has many chimpanzees that live in groups of 100s or more.  The trek for the chimps can start as early at 4:30am in order to watch the chimps begin their day.  Chimpanzees love swinging on trees up high in the canopy and therefore you are advised to carry binoculars.   Hike through Nyungwe forest in search for chimpanzees, the trek will take about 2 to 3 hours and on meeting them you will be around to spend 1 hour following them and taking photos.   Later you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, for those who are not afraid of heights you may go for the breathtaking canopy walk. The walk along the canopy in Nyungwe par offers remarkable views of this montane forests and gives you an opportunity to see the primates nest and also primates nestled up high in the trees.  Overnight at your preferred lodge

Day 3; Black and white Colobus monkey Nature Walk- Transfer back to Kigali.

In the morning after breakfast, you will go for another nature walk in search for Colobus monkeys in the forest and this will take 3 to 4 hrs to return in time for Lunch. You will then have lunch and embark on the journey back to Kigali arriving in the evening. End of your 3 Days Nyungwe Tour.
