Buhoma lodge is situated in the Buhoma area at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
The lodge has 8 comfy cabins with en-suite flush toilets, warm showers and some rooms with bathtubs. Rooms are mosquito proof. The lodge has a cozy dinning and bar area with eminent outlooks of the forest. Tourism activities here include gorilla tracking, forest walks, birding and cultural interaction. The lodge also has recharging facilities, UK square 3-pin plugs 240 and each room has a safety deposit box .
The Lodge has magnificent and continuous views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park habitat to the uncommon and elusive Mountain Gorilla. Formerly Buhoma Homestead, the lodge has now been refurbished to match with the 21st Century generation . It now provides a top quality, warm lodge for guests’ pleasure.
The lodge is strategically located within the Bwindi National Park and it is less than a five minutes’ walk from the start of Rushegura and Mubare gorilla tracking families starting points .
Its Chalets have been cautiously built, each with its own private verandah, allowing wonderful views of the forest canopy of the National Park.
The cabins are spacious with comfortable beds, a well appointed en suite bathroom with flushing toilet and a hot shower and also some rooms with bath tubs.
The lodge has a lofty lounge area with bar and dining facilities. It offers a warm, contented environment, to discuss the day’s activities around the fireplaces which add atmosphere and warmth in the cool evenings.

Meals are prepared with many local ingredients, providing a balance of international and locally flavored cuisine with meals being of several courses.

The lodge provides hot beverages throughout the day on a self service basis, but are conveyed to your cottage with early morning wake up calls as required, permitting you to awake gently and savor the early morning sounds of the forest.
